Abstract

Losses were analyzed for non-symmetrical metal-dielectric-metal (MDM) splitters in subwavelength plasmonic waveguides. The simulation results show non-symmetrical MDM splitters have very high transmission and very close power splitting ratios among output ports at 1.5um wavelength.
