Trapping Across PCFs: A Numerical Study

Abstract

We numerically examine the trapping efficiency of an optical beam transmitted transversely through a hollow-core, water filled photonic crystal fiber. The trapping beam retains its structure and trapping efficiency despite the fiber microstructure.
