Compact Node for Selective Surface Plasmon Coupling to Orthogonal Planar Metallic Wires

Abstract

A node for coupling surface plasmons onto planar layers of metallic nanowires is studied via numerical calculations. Coupling to orthogonal arms of wires can be switched by interfering differently-polarized beams incident upon the node.
