Nonlinear optical behavior of ultrashort pulses in scattering media

Abstract

The nonlinear optical behavior of powdered systems remains difficult to model because of the spatial intensity distribution. We present a novel way to calculate time dependent second harmonic generation in powders and resulting autocorrelation signals.
