InAs/InP Quantum Dot Photonic Crystal Microcavities – A Scalable Route to Single and Entangled Pair Sources

Abstract

We propose a scalable route to single and entangled photon pair sources at telecoms wavelengths based on single InAs/InP quantum dots embedded within photonic crystal microcavities. The electrostatic gating of such dots is discussed.
