Passively Mode-Locked Slow Pump Optical Parametric Oscillators

We propose to use Bragg grating to induce large walk-off between the signal and slow pump in nonlinear crystal for developing passively mode-locked OPO’s in which a CW pump is efficiently converted into short pulses.
