Twisted Chains of Resonant Nanoparticles: Polarization control, waveguidance, and radiation

Abstract

Linear arrays of resonant nanoparticles that are sequentially rotated about the array axis display interesting polarization sensitive optical properties. Such “twisted” arrays support two transverse modes with distinct waveguidance and radiation properties.
