Using Hyperentangled Photons to Prepare Bound Entanglement

Abstract

We present an experimental setup to prepare the bound-entangled Smolin state using hyperentangled photons produced by spontaneous parametric down-conversion. We can verify the state produced using quantum state tomography and “unlocking” of entanglement.
