Nonclassical nature of nonlocal dispersion cancellation

Abstract

Shapiro recently suggested that nonlocal dispersion cancellation is essentially classical in nature. It is shown that his classical model gives identical dispersion in two beams of light and is not analogous to nonlocal dispersion cancellation.
