An Anisotropic Metamaterial Leaky Waveguide

Abstract

We propose a leaky optical waveguide achieved with a uniaxially anisotropic meta-material that supports both forward and backward leaky waves. The backward leaky nature is exploited in a sub-diffraction imaging system.
