Abstract

We present for the first time mid-infrared frequency comb generation from micro-resonators. Combs spanning over more than 10 THz around the 2.5 µm-wavelength CW-pump are generated in crystalline MgF2 whispering-gallery mode resonators via four-wave-mixing.
