Towards unraveling the mechanism of third harmonic generation in plasmonic nanoantennas

Abstract

We study third harmonic generation from arrays of plasmonic nanoantennas. Specifically, we investigate the size, gap, and material dependence of the conversion efficiency and find it to be a function of the plasmon resonance energies.
