Plasmonic Apertures: A Scalable Plasmonic Architecture for Enhanced Diamond Single Photon Sources

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate that plasmonic apertures provide a scalable architecture for diamond NV center applications. Our results show that emission rates can be enhanced up to 60 times with collection efficiencies up to %40.
