Tunability in High Harmonic Enhancement by a Binary Quasi-Static Electric Field

Abstract

An alternating quasi-static field allows for controlling and enhancing the yield in high harmonic generation. Simulations predict increase of more than two orders of magnitude for harmonics in the water window spectral range.
