Strong-field Induced Optical Absorption in ZnO Crystal

Abstract

We report the observation of intensity dependent red shift on the absorption-edge of zinc-oxide driven by a mid-infrared laser pulse. A new regime is identified where the shift is no longer linear to the intensity.
