Time-reversed Lasing and Control of Absorption in a Two-channel Coherent Perfect Absorber

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel mechanism for controlling absorption of coherent light bytwo orders of magnitude. By varying the phase of incident laser light in a two-port geometry, the absorption is greatly enhanced or reduced.
