Systematic Frequency Shifts in Spectroscopy of 1s-2s Transition in Atomic Hydrogen

Abstract

We analyze and review several systematic effects which lead to shifts of the observed 1s-2s transition frequency in atomic hydrogen. The results open the possibility to improve the accuracy of the 1s-2s frequency measurement.
