Tunable coupling cavity QED with a superconducting artificial atom

Abstract

We present a tunable coupling qubit (TCQ), which has independent and fast control over the qubit energy and the coupling strength to a superconducting microwave cavity in a circuit quantum electrodynamics architecture.
