Plasma-induced soliton self-frequency blueshift in gas-filled hollow-core PCFs

Abstract

We present new equations describing pulse envelope propagation in a hollow-core PCF filled with an ionizable gas. We describe for the first time the recently observed plasma-induced soliton self-frequency blueshift.
