Photon and Polariton Condensates in Microcavities

Abstract

In this work we study thermalisation-, coherence- and spin dynamics of photon and polariton Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs). We witness carrier distributions following the Bose Einstein distribution, buildup of long-range order and spontaneous symmetry breaking.
