Engineered Reflectance and Transmittance in Curvilinear Hyperbolic Metamaterials and Hyperbolic Metamaterials with Scatterers

Abstract

We have demonstrated the reduction of reflectance in curvilinear lamellar hyperbolic metamaterials and hyperbolic metamaterials with deposited TiO2 scatterers. The effect is accompanied by an enhancement of the sample’s transmission and its non-reciprocity.
