Wavelength-insensitive negative optical permittivity without nanofabrication in transparent nonlinear dipolar glasses

Abstract

We demonstrate an optically employable negative permittivity regime in a photorefractive dipolar glass. Signature anti-diffraction is detected when the transparent glass is cast far from equilibrium through a rapid small-amplitude temperature swing.
