Adaptive Quantum Measurement via Swarm-Intelligence Machine Learning

Abstract

We construct an algorithm that learns through trial-and-error training how to devise optimal feedback-based single-shot phase estimation in interferometry. Our algorithm is robust against experimental imperfections, losses and decoherence.
