Observation of Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) in Rb-filled Hollow-core Fibre

Abstract

Filling the cores of a hollow-core optical fibre with Rubidium has proven challenging. Here we report on progress to this end, and give experimental and theoretical evidence of substantial electromagnetically induced transparency at room temperature.
