Optimal Protocols for Remote Entanglement Generation

Abstract

We study optimal distribution of entanglement from a control-theoretic standpoint. We derive several quantum feedback protocols for remote Bell state preparation and prove that they are globally optimal. Information-theoretic bounds are also derived and applied.
