Detuning Effects on the Atom-photon Entanglement of a 4-level atom near the PBG

Abstract

entanglement dynamics for a four-level atom near the band edge of a PBG and its spontaneous emission field is investigated. Entanglement’s degree is substantially influenced by the position of atomic levels near the band edge.
