Abstract

We locate single quantum dots with nanoscale accuracy through photoluminescence imaging. This technique, combined with atomic force microscopy, enables nanophotonic devices with engineered light-matter coupling, showing bright, Purcell-enhanced, on-demand single-photon emission with >99% purity.
