Quantum Communication Protocols Based on Hybrid Entanglement of Light

Abstract

Hybrid entanglement of light combines two quantum information paradigms, the particle-like and the wave-like encodings, together. We report on recent experiments that engage this resource for two quantum communication protocols: remote state preparation and quantum steering.
