Abstract

We report on a quantum-based measurement of index difference for fiber laser applications. Based on an interferometric setup, we demonstrate a state-of-the-art high-accurate measurement of ∆n = (1,67 ± 0,07) · 104 thanks exploitation of peculiar properties of quantum photonics.
