Macroscopic entangled states by delocalized single-photon addition

Abstract

We report an experimental realization of macroscopic entangled states obtained by applying delocalized single-photon creation operations on two uncorrelated temporal modes populated by coherent states. Entanglement is preserved as the mean photon number increases.
