Multi-Ion Quantum Logic Driven by Integrated Optics

Abstract

We use trap-integrated optics to drive 2-qubit quantum gate, generating Bell-states with fidelities 99.3(2)%. Integration simultaneously brings robustness and paralleliz-ability to trapped-ion control, of interest for large-scale quantum computing.
