MHz Source of Single Photons Tuned to Rubidium Transition

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

We report on 1MHz bandwidth source of single photons at 795 nm, producing 1000 photons/s for every 1mW of pump power. The photons are well suited for storage in Rb vapor based room temperature quantum memories.
