Indistinguishable Photons with High Efficiency from a Quantum Emitter Strongly Coupled to a Plasmonic Nanostructure

Abstract

We theoretically investigate the degree of indistinguishability of photons produced by a solid state quantum emitter coupled to a plasmonic nanostructure and find a high degree of indistinguishability combined with very high emission efficiency.
