Experimental Observation of BCS Dynamical Phases in a Strontium Cavity-QED System

Abstract

We simulate out-of-equilibrium dynamics in Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer model of superconductivity using ~106 Sr atoms coupled via cavity-mediated spin-exchange inter-actions. In doing so, we observe three theoretically-predicted dynamical phases and identify corresponding phase transitions.
