Decoherence-protected GHZ states of a nuclear spin ensemble surrounding a solid-state qubit

Abstract

We prepare many-body Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger states in a nuclear spin ensemble (51V in YVO4) via engineered interaction with a central spin (171Yb). Decoherence-free subspaces, protected from correlated noise, are investigated.
