Development of a High-Purity Quantum Random Number Generator Based on Bose-Einstein Statistics

Abstract

We present a 200 Mbps quantum random number generator based on Bose-Einstein statistics, where 98.7 % of the min-entropy is traceable to the quantum signal. The bit stream is then shown to pass numerous statistical tests.
