Recovery of Water Vapor Profiles in the 0.94 μm Band Using the SAGE II Instrument System

Abstract

A limited study of the possibility of using the 0.94 μm water vapor band for the recovery of water vapor atmospheric profiles is presented. This band is virtually free from other contaminant species, and thus the vexing problem of how to handle the effects of interfering gases is avoided.
