Abstract

Elastic scatterings of exciton-polaritons in bulk crystal and semiconductor microcavity are shown theoretically to work not only as their dephasing but also so as to induce coherent nonlinear optical responses through their weak localization. On the other hand, inelastic scattering and decay of these excitations weaken the signal of these nonlinear optical signals.
