Tunable Diode Laser Sulfuric Acid Stack Monitoring System

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

A two frequency tunable diode laser system has been constructed for the purpose of monitoring sulfuric acid emissions in stacks of electric power plants where high sulfur content or oil are consumed.

The system is digitally controlled and self-calibrating in units of parts per million meter of sulfuric acid concentration.

The system will be described and laboratory stability test results will be presented.
