Slow light in coupled heterostructure nanocavity waveguides

Abstract

Multiple high-Q photonic crystal nanocavities are coupled together for non-dispersive slow wave operation with appreciable bandwidth. Efficient coupling into the slow light regime of the photonic crystal waveguide passband is also observed.
