Chirp Dependence of Filter Assisted Slow and Fast Light Effects in Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers

Abstract

We demonstrate that the initial optical phase difference between the carrier and sidebands will strongly influence the final RF phase shift induced by filter assisted slow and fast light effects in semiconductor optical amplifiers.
