Abstract

We propose a novel all-optical tunable delay line based on soliton self-frequency shift for 10 Gbit/s data modulated RZ pulses with the assist of pulse compression. We experimentally demonstrate a temporal shift up to 10.0 ps for 2.0 ps-width with 231-1-long pseudo random binary sequence.
