Enhanced slow light in quantum dot photonic crystal waveguides

Abstract

We present a theoretical analysis of pulse propagation in a quantum dot semiconductor photonic crystal waveguide in the regime of electromagnetically induced transparency. The slow-down factor for the combined system is determined.
