Slow light via Electromagnetically-Induced Transparency in GaAs Multiple Quantum Wells in a Transient Regime

Abstract

Slowed group velocity of light in GaAs/AlGaAs multiple quantum wells (MQWs) for ultrafast photonic applications is numerically estimated and discussed using a fourth-order Runge-Kutta method through observed electromagnetically-induced transparency (EIT) in a transient regime.
