Abstract
Liquid Crystal (LC) Spatial Light Modulators (SLMs) consist of an array of pixels manufactured on a Silicon backplane. Each pixel can, in binary devices, be on or off and thus stores a logic ‘1’ or ‘O’. This storage can be implemented using SRAM or DRAM cells.
