Chromatic dispersion engineering in chalcogenide microporous fibers for the middle-infrared

Abstract

Tuning of the microporosity in the core of chalcogenide fibers provides extensive dispersion engineering that allows red-shifting of zero-dispersion points and flattened dispersion profiles. The porosity also significantly lowers propagation losses.
