Abstract
The TeO2–WO3–La2O3–Er2O3–Bi2O3 (TWLB+Er) glasses with 0–4 mol. % erbium oxide content and various hydroxyl group concentrations characterize by absorption of about 0,001–3 cm−1 at ~ 3 µm as well as optical fibers were produced and investigated. Stability against crystallization and Tg value don’t depend on Er concentration. Dependences of intensity and decay time of luminescence bands at ~ 1.6 µm and ~ 2.75 µm upon 0.975 µm excitation vs Er and OH-groups content were studied.
