Enhanced supercontinuum generation in the normal dispersion pumping regime by seeded dispersive wave emission and stimulated Raman scattering

Abstract

We present a new normal-dispersion-pumped supercontinuum seeding mechanism based on a combined effect of stimulated Raman scattering and seeded dispersive wave emission. The seeded SC bandwidth is drastically enhanced to more than one octave.
