Mid IR Fiber Lasers and Their Applications in Remote Gas Sensing System

Abstract

We present the new fiber fabrication method based on the granulated silica. The fabrication procedures will be explained and properties of the developed optical fibers with proposed technique are evaluated by comparing with commercial fibers.
