Scaling Properties of Solid-core Photonic Crystal Fibers to Large-mode-area with d/Λ = 0.55

Abstract

We investigate scaling properties of solid-core photonic crystal fibers in order to increase effective mode area according with single-mode operation condition. We present numerical analysis results of fiber with d/Λ = 0.55 and core diameter 35 µm.
